Bordeaux, France
The city of Bordeaux welcomes you with the whiff of coffee, wine, and fresh croissants. France’s very first port is best seen on two wheels as we ride past the Place de la Bourse, The Grand Theatre, the Allees de Tourny, the Bordeaux quayside, and many more magnificent heritage sites that border the river Garonne. When we tire of this, we can take a walk down Europe’s longest pedestrian street, Rue Sainte Catherine, in search of a cafe terrace where we can sit and enjoy a cafe au lait or one of the region’s finest wines.
