One of our favourite things to do in Oman is to have a cup of coffee with Mr. Latif, the owner and curator of the Bait Adam Museum as he leads you on an immersive cultural tour. As we admire the museum’s collection of historical artifacts, swords, guns, pieces of armor, maps, and more, Mr. Latif regales us with stories and anecdotes known only to him. Afterwards, we travel back in time to Old Muscat, where we meet the Royal Family through paintings and sepia-tinted photographs. And finally, we chance upon the philatelist’s dream – an immersive exhibit about Oman’s postal system, which always gets a stamp of approval from us.
